Number One

London Bridge
Very 80's architecture, Number One London Bridge still manages to look good thirty-two years later. And sometimes it feels that I wait that long in the morning for the bus to come.

From the other side

Tower Bridge
I usually cross the river by the western bridges, but this time was on a 78 over Tower bridge.  This journey is famous for 30th December 1952, when Albert Gunter drove his 78 bus over the bridge whilst it was opening.  They all made it (driver, bus and passengers) to the other side, with only one broken leg between them.

Window boxes

Picadilly

Cross the river

Hungerford Railway Bridge
It is called Hungerford railway bridge, because once upon a time there was a Hungerford Market on the north bank of the Thames.  As a child I remember walking right next to the trains, feeling the shake on the bridge as they went past, but now a days pedestrians walk across the Golden Jubilee bridges on either side.
