Festival Gardens

The flat spaces around St Pauls are due to bomb damage.  They were turned into the Festival Gardens in 1951, for the the Festival of Britain celebrations.  They were designed by Sir Albert Richardson

I presume the orange one is meant to have a jagged edge.  But why? If they are fruit drops wouldn't teeth marks be more appropriate, where it has been eaten?

Waiting for a bus up Bishopsgate.  Although sometimes it feels that it would be quicker to walk, but when I do, of course, the bus overtakes me before I get there.
